DOCUMENTATION CENTER AND FEMINIST ARCHIVE FOR HISTORICAL MEMORY PROGRAM

The Julia Esquivel Documentation Center was established in 2012. From the beginning, its intention was to provide a reference source and reading books for those who participate in the courses and diplomas offered by Q’anil. We currently have a Library and Newspaper Archive in which we have classified more than 1,500 books relating to Anthropology, Literature, Transpersonal Thought, Psychology, Mayan Cosmovision, Memory, Sexualities, Feminisms and Feminism in Guatemala, among others.

Additionally, there are materials from the Newspaper Archive and the Feminist Archive of Historical Memory which capture all that Q’anil has produced since its foundation as well as documents from Central American feminist movements dating back to 1970.
